    university library. He may even be surprised to find that the work partly validates Kuiper’s insights on early Munda.

    The line relates to the facilities (together with a pair of kos.t.ha_ga_ra, storehouses) provided to itinerant metalsmiths of artisan guilds at the junction of three highways.
    Ib is the shortest name of any Railway Station; it is on Nagpur-Howrah rail-route. Ib means ‘iron’ (Santali). Ib is not far from
    jharsagud.a the land the Great Maha_vi_ra walked.
    Lohgar.h is the name of a place on the banks of River Sarasvati in Yamunanagar district north of the Siwalik ranges. At this place, the
    District Collector licenses gold-panners even today. No wonder, Sarasvati was called hiran.yavartani_.
